Aquest treball consisteix en la traducció cap al català del testament de James Gandolfini, el qual es va signar als Estats Units i està escrit en anglès. James Gandolfini fou un actor nascut als Estats Units que va morir quan estava de viatge a Itàlia. Així doncs, a continuació trobem una breu introducció del que es durà a terme en el treball, l’explicació del funcionament testamentari als Estats Units i a Catalunya, el document original i la seva traducció, un comentari traductològic que inclou els aspectes més rellevants del document i, finalment, 30 fitxes terminològiques de vocabulari específic que apareix a la traducció.
This project is about the translation towards Catalan of James Gandolfini’s last will, which was signed in the United Sates and it is written in English. James Gandolfini was an actor born in the United Sates who died while he was on a trip in Italy. Hereafter, we can find a brief introduction which explains what will be done in the project, the explanation of how Last Wills work in the United States and Catalonia, the original document and its translation, a translation commentary which includes the most relevant aspects of the document and, finally, 30 terminology cards of specific vocabulary that appears in the translation. |
