The project’s goal is to calculate the primary energy needs of a building with an air to air heat pump for the air conditioning. A real case of an existing building has been investigated using the dynamic simulation code called TRNSYS. This program has been used to evaluate the thermal energy needs of the building for heating and cooling.
Two different systems have been evaluated, one with a boiler for heating and an air
conditioner for cooling, and another one with a FORTRAN code developed in the Department of Applied Physics of Padua. In order to simplify the work, firstly the summer case will be studied and then the winter case. There will be two systems and finally the objective will be to unify the results and to obtain the primary energy needs of the building for heating and cooling. |
