Energy is a well-appreciated good for human society. A good amount of technologies have been developed since long time ago to generate and transport it, adapting its production to each community’s needs.
Sometimes, there are sources of energy with an interesting potential that rest unused: sewer heat, train braking, waste…they are known as “fatal energies”.
In order to conclude whether these sources have enough potential, several aspects must be thoughtfully analyzed: amount of energy they can produce, efficiency, possibilities of valorization, pros and cons, barriers etc…
There are important sources of fatal energy in Ile-de-France. Some of them do already possess a mastered technology and have even gone through field experience, while others are still at early stages of development. |
