In a company, maintenance is directly related with production. If a machine is broken losses can be very important as neither the machine nor the employees in the machine are working, this is why it is so important to reduce the stops as much as possible and, in case of stop, reduce the time used to solve the problem to the minimum. If a company achieves this, its productivity will widely improve. The main aim in this thesis is to improve the company's productivity by doing a more productive maintenance of the machines. For this, the lack of machine replacement parts in the spare store has to be avoided at all costs. To forecast and provide all the replacement parts is needed in the maintenance section. In this thesis, the automatic ordering system exposed above is going to be theoretically developed. |
