[CATALÀ] La nostre societat cada vegada és més envellida i amb menys població jove. Això provoca que hi hagi una demanda cada cop més difícil de satisfer tant, de recursos monetaris com de recursos físics o persones per a poder dedicar la suficient atenció a l’excés de població envellida. Això implica que aquest sector de població cada cop tingui una pitjor qualitat de vida. En aquest punt apareix la necessitat d’introduir la tecnologia en la vida quotidiana, d’una forma transparent amb la que es pretén controlar el sector més envellit de la societat i garantir una millor qualitat de vida. Per altra banda, s’està introduint el concepte d’internet de les coses, que no és res més que connectar tots els dispositius o objectes de la vida diària a la xarxa de forma transparent. Aquest nou concepte es pot dur a terme gràcies a la ràpida evolució i integració d’internet en la vida quotidiana, i l‘aparició constant de nous dispositius més potents i de menys cost que milloren la relació dels objectes amb els humans. Avui en dia un habitatge és una cosa viva i gràcies a les telecomunicacions i a la domòtica es pot integrar la tecnologia en la llar. Actualment hi ha tanta diversitat de tecnologies i opcions per a poder realitzar aquestes tasques que pot arribar a ser difícil escollir l’opció adient. En aquest projecte es proposa la creació d’una plataforma utilitzant diverses tecnologies ja existents en el mercat, i fer que interactuïn entre elles. Es crearà un sistema per a fer un recordatori de l’hora en què s’han de prendre els medicaments. El medi per a recordar-ho és un sistema d’ús quotidià: la televisió, on es mostra un recordatori per pantalla en l’hora establerta. Amb el simple fet d’obrir el calaix on es tenen els medicaments, s’enregistra si s’han pres dins de l’horari correcte o no. Gràcies a aquest registre els familiars poden comprovar si hi ha hagut cap incidència, per poder actuar com sigui necessari.
