This paper describes the integration of the WordNet ontology into a Description Logic (DL) system. From the DL point of view, WordNet is seen as a set of concept names, and a set of axioms relating them. These set of axioms correspond to the definition of the synset taxonomy; and the behavior we want text words to have: they have only one syntactical category, and they can have only one synset assigned to them. An interface to the WordNet ontology has been implemented for the YAYA DL system. This interface creates WordNet concept names and axioms as they are needed. This is done in a transparent way, so WordNet is
