ejemplo, Matlab.

The project initially studied palletization and the different methods, tools and items that
are part of the palletization. Currently there are some standard on pallets, which
include dimensions such as width, length and height, but when choosing boxes there
are no standards and this considerably complicates the resolution of automated
palletizing.
Once the palletization is studied, I will start my analysis of the PLP (Pallet Loading
Problem), which is the classic problem of packaging to maximize the number of
identical boxes on a pallet. After, I will describe the different problems found in the
Heuristic and mathematical algorithms. In the end I will present the most innovative
algorithms, which are capable of solving problems in 3D with boxes of different sizes.
The fact is that these algorithms need a lot of resources and do not provide a 100%
solution so more optimal alternatives are being investigated.
The most extensive part of the project is to find an industrial viable solution with equal
and symmetrical palletizing boxes. The pursued solution is one that minimize the
expenses and that does not need an alternative software or hardware, the algorithm is
integrated within the same controller of the machine, according to the limitation of the
controller. For creation of the algorithm we have studied all possible cases for the
palletization of equal and symmetrical building.
After studying these cases we will design the algorithms a scalable execution program
with the aim of being able to design more algorithms in the future and that the
implementation of the program become easy and intuitive.
Finally to demonstrate the obtained outcomes, the coordinates will be saved in an
archive CSV to simulate a calculus program such as MatLab. |
