As markets tend to provide flexible, escalable and rapidly changing technologies, a new product opportunity has been detected; the products consists of a new virtual PBX solution integrating fixed and mobile telephony services. This new product will provide customers with a reliable VoIP solution, with no additional hardware required. Furthermore, it will give them the ability to have all their communications services from the same provider. Seeking always new ways of improving the company's processes to reach the customer faster, with more accurate and usable products, companies are developing products following the latest New Product Development techniques, and among them the Lean-scrum methodology. The present thesis describes the whole product development process, as well as the methodology and techniques used. A business case, and its subsequent project development will be presented. The project will include a business plan, where the product development will be described. Finally, a market launch plan will be outlined. |
