Abstract: | The proposal of control and prevention of avalanches using drone technology, arises with the idea of overcoming the challenges and the existing deficiencies, which make difficult the control and monitoring of snow avalanches, and that suppose a high risk for the safety of the affected areas. This purpose has been realized through a control system, formed by beacons equipped with ultrasonic and temperature sensors, which communicate with a drone that facilitates the information obtained on the characteristics of the state of the snowpack, and through a continuous monitoring of the zone activity, with an adapted flight designed through a software created for this project, that allows to obtain an homogenous resolution in the photogrammetry, for the precise control and the detailed prognosis of the state of risk that an area covered with snow could suffer. |
