English: This document contains information about the features of a system for
capturing sunlight and its distribution by means of fiber optic lighting. This
system is divided into two main parts. The first, details the features of the sun,
the orientation of the sensor and the materials must be used. The second part
is based about the design.
This first part of the paper attempts to highlight what features should be known
about the spectrum of sunlight and how to determine with what power we will
count in the beginning. It defines an algorithm to guide the system and so
maximizing the use of solar irradiance. In this first block defines the main
features of the lens (sensor element), the optical fiber (manifold) and the
diffusers (to attribute greater opening to output the light in the fiber optic) these
will be included in the design.
In the second part implements the collection system design and light
distribution. In each of the first block specific properties are detailed. In
addition, losses are determined for each item and it get the amount of light that
each lens can offer. It will take into account the location and the date for the
calculation. Finally, as the system depends on sunlight and this is not always
an available, documented specification about a complementary and alternative
system. This equipment, through sensors, is able to adapt the amount of light
in spaces.
As a final point of the project, there is a study of greening. It's a small study of
the savings that could be implemented in a system building. |
