dc.description.abstract | Accurate geolocation of SMOS RFI sources is very important for effectively switching-off the illegal emitter in the protected L-band. We present a novel approach for the geolocation of SMOS RFI sources, based on the Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation techniques normally used in the sensor array. The MUSIC DOA estimation algorithm is tailored for SMOS RFI source detection. In the test results, the proposed MUSIC method shows improved performance in terms of angular/spatial resolution. |
