dc.description.abstract	A new species of Allophaiom,i.r. A. chalinei, is described from the Lower Pleistocene of the Victoria cave (Murcia. Spain). This species is characterized by his great si~e, with confluent T 4 and T 5 and it has been also fouiid at the lower levels of Atapuerca (Burgos) and Venta Micena (Granada)
