We present the preliminary results of an ongoing study on the reuse of materials in the Paleochristian necropolis of Tarragona. First, we present statistical data derived from the study of reused architectural elements, a total of 107 pieces. We analyze some guidelines on the particular case of Tarragona and, subsequently, we pose the debate on the phenomenon of reuse in funeralmartyrial contexts, based on some parallels. |
