L’objectiu d’aquest treball ha estat caracteritzar i avaluar l’efecte que ha tingut el pas de cubícul a llit fred a una explotació lletera de l’illa de Menorca. S’ha fet una recopilació de bibliografia relacionada amb el tema i amb els resultats obtinguts, s’ha fet una comparació amb aquesta veient si coincideix o no, i en quina mesura. Hi ha hagut una recopilació de les dades de diferents indicadors de la granja entre el 2013 i el 2017, ambdós inclosos, i amb aquestes, s’ha fet un tractament estadístic i s’han elaborat gràfiques d’evolució temporal. En termes productius la granja ha millorat amb el canvi, destacant l’augment de litres per vaca, la disminució del RCS al tanc o la previsió a 305 dies. En reproducció, tot i que es veu una certa tendència a la millora d’indicadors com la fertilitat mensual, la fertilitat a primera IA o la detecció de zels, els indicadors més significatius com són l’interval part – inseminació fecundant, els dies en llet o els serveis per concepció, han empitjorat. L’estat sanitari del ramat ha millorat notablement, i això es veu en un menor nombre de malalties entre les que destaquen les mamitis i les coixeres, a més d’un menor nombre d’eliminacions tant per aquests, com per altres motius. S’ha formulat un qüestionari de satisfacció amb el llit fred al gerent de la granja, i d’aquest s’ha pogut extreure que, tot i que faria alguna millora, en general està bastant content de la implantació d’aquest sistema.
The objective of this study has been to characterize and evaluate the effect that the change from freestall barn to a compost barn has had on a dairy farm on the island of Minorca. A compilation of bibliography related to the subject has been compiled and with the obtained results, a comparison has been made with this one, whether it matches or not, and what extent. There has been a compilation of data from different indicators of the farm between 2013 and 2017, both included, and a statistical treatment has been done and graphs of temporary evolution have been produced. In productive terms, the farm has improved with the change, highlighting the increase in milk yield, the decrease of bulk-tank SCC or the 305-day forecast. In reproduction, although there is a certain tendency to improve indicators such as monthly fertility, fertility at the first AI or detection of heats, the most significant indicators such as the days from part to fertilizing insemination, days in milk or services by conception, have worsened. The health status of the herd has improved markedly, and this is seen in a small number of diseases, among which the mastitis and lameness stand out, as well as smaller number of eliminations for both these and for other reasons. A satisfaction questionnaire with the compost ban has been formulated at the manager of the farm, and from this it has been possible to extract that, although it would do some improvement, in general he is quite satisfied with the implantation of this system. |
