terapias complementarias: yoga, relajación muscular progresiva, musicoterapia y
acupuntura.

therapy to reduce the side effects of treatments and improve their well-being.
Objectives: To know the effectiveness of the different complementary therapies to
improve the symptomatology of the side effects of the treatment in the oncological
patient of the Day Hospital of the HUAV.
Methodology: A search was made in several databases: Medline (Pubmed),
Cochrane, SJR, Google academic. The search was limited to articles of the last 10
years with full text available, in English and Spanish. The definitive articles were
selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria after reading the summary.
A before-after intervention without a control group is proposed, which includes
several complementary therapies: yoga, progressive muscle relaxation, music
therapy and acupuncture. The sessions will be applied to a sample of 25 patients
under treatment at the HUAV Day Hospital. The duration of the intervention will be 6
months, 3 days a week. The evaluation of the intervention will be made before and
after the intervention.

option, since they provide important benefits, increasing the well-being and quality of
life of cancer patients. |
