Hipótesis: Realizar la punción de ciertos puntos de acupuntura puede comportar un método eficaz para reducir el dolor y mejorar la calidad de vida. Objetivos: Determinar si el tratamiento en acupuntura en personas con cefalea tensional crónica ofrece ventajas sobre la disminución del dolor y la calidad de vida.
Metodología: Se llevará a cabo un Ensayo Clínico Abierto. Participarán 234 sujetos de entre 18 a 65 años de la Región Sanitaria de Lleida, que serán asignados un número de identificación aleatorio y serán divididos de forma aleatoria en tres grupos. El grupo Control recibirá el tratamiento habitual por parte de la seguridad social, el medicamento profiláctico amitriptilina. El segundo grupo control recibirá acupuntura simulada. El grupo experimental recibirá el protocolo que proponemos en este ensayo.
Hypothesis: Performing the puncture of certain acupuncture points can be an effective method to reduce pain and improve life quality. Objectives: To determine if acupuncture treatment offers advantages over the reduction of pain and improve life quality. Metodology: An Open Label Trial will be carried out. The participants needed are 234 subjects between 18 and 65 years old from the Health Region of Lleida, who will be assigned a random identification number and will be divided randomly in three groups. The Control group will receive the usual treatment from the social security, the prophylactic drug amitriptyline. The second control group will receive sham acupuncture and the experimental group will receive the protocol that we propose in this essay. |
