Pregunta clínica: ¿Cuál es la prevalencia de los problemas del complejo pélvico y cómo afectan a la funcionalidad y la calidad de vida de las mujeres pertenecientes a países con un alto riesgo de MGF residentes en Lleida capital?
Objetivo: Evaluar la prevalencia de los problemas del complejo pélvico y cómo afectan a la funcionalidad y la calidad de vida en mujeres con MGF residentes en Lleida capital.
Metodología: Se trata de un estudio observacional descriptivo de corte transversal que evaluará la prevalencia de los posibles problemas del complejo pélvico presentes en mujeres pertenecientes a países con una prevalencia >51% de la práctica, con edades comprendidas entre los 18 y los 49 años, ambos inclusive, y residentes en Lleida capital. Dichas pacientes serán captadas a través del Instituto Catalán de la Salud (ICS) y Gestión de Servicios Sanitarios (GSS) y deberán estar adscritas a uno de los nueve centros de atención primaria (CAP) de Lleida capital. La aleatorización se llevará a cabo mediante un muestreo aleatorio simple. Las variables del estudio se clasificarán entre variables cualitativas y cuantitativas, las cuales evaluarán la existencia o no de MGF, la tipología, la presencia de problemas del complejo pélvico y la prevalencia de estos, la funcionalidad y la calidad de vida.
Clinical question: What is the prevalence of pelvic complex problems and how do they affect the functionality and quality of life of women from countries with a high risk of FGM residing in the capital Lleida?
Objective: To assess the prevalence of pelvic complex problems and how they affect functionality and quality of life in women with FGM residing in the capital Lleida.
Methodology: This is a descriptive cross-sectional observational study that will assess the prevalence of possible pelvic complex problems present in women from countries with a prevalence >51% of the practice, with ages between 18 and 49, both inclusive, and residing in the capital city of Lleida. These patients will be recruited through the Catalan Institute of Health (ICS) and Health Services Management (GSS) and must be attached to one of the nine primary care centres (CAP) of Lleida capital. Randomisation will be carried out by simple random sampling. The variables of the study will be classified between qualitative and quantitative variables, which will evaluate the existence or not of FGM, the typology, the presence of pelvic complex problems and their prevalence, functionality and quality of life. |
