The Airport Development Reference Manual (ADRM) 10th edition is a manual that serves as a guide for the sizing of airport facilities taking into account the needs of users. Regarding the ninth edition, this tenth edition of the ADRM takes into account the time factor when calculating facilities that is more complete and complex as it is a variable parameter. The project has been developed in three phases. In the first place, the basic concepts of a terminal building have been defined, taking into account the capacity of its different facilities since this is the main objective of the study. Then, the pertinent calculations for each installation were carried out using the ADRM own equations and the results were compared with the real data, using in the calculations the time and surface parameters obtained in-situ in different visits to the airport itself. Finally, a prognosis is made based on the 1998 Master Plan, analyzing the degree of compliance with the traffic forecasts mentioned in said document. Subsequently, we have proceeded to estimate future traffic, coinciding with the new 2026 Master Plan in which the construction of a new satellite terminal is detailed, analyzing the real need for such infrastructure. |
