Abstract:
|
Making use of a System On Module (SOM), a hardware platform will be developed around it, that will allow to create a module that will be able to reconfigure its inputs and outputs to adapt easily to the different test and measurement procedures that can be performed. The main tasks to be developed are: Study of the SOM and what possibilities it offers. Mapping of the I/O and its limitations. Research of which functions can be implemented and under which conditions. Design of the hardware platform. Support the SW integration from the HW perspective. |
Abstract:

The purpose of this Master Thesis is the study of the capabilities offered by the National Instruments sbRIO-9651 System-On-Module, to determine if it?s suitable for the implementation of automatic test equipment instruments. With these capabilities identified, a hardware platform was developed allowing it to acquire real world signals and process them for the purpose of test and measurement. |
