[ANGLÈS] This project consists in perform a study of the Hall of “la Escola Politècnia Superior d'Enginyeria de Vilanova i la Geltrú” and preparing a redesign proposal. Currently, the Hall of this university is in disuse. It does not offer the needs and requirements of the users and It does not represent the values of an engineering university, where the Degree in Industrial Design Engineering clearly distinguish. For this reason, what is intended with this project is, in addition to improving the identification of the Industrial Design Degree, that the Hall is more integrated and promotes work on the campus and university life. In this way, the needs - furniture, facilities, materials, energy efficiency ... - and functions of a Hall will also be updated. For this, and based on the concepts of Design Thinking, firstly, the problem is identified and analyzed through the In-Out-In creative method, to subsequently develop the design proposal. Once the proposal has been developed, the materials and manufacturing processes of those elements designed are defined, taking into account the costs involved. Next, a resistance analysis of these designed modules is also carried out and their life cycle is studied. Finally, It shows the final solution of the EPSEVG Hall is shown. |
