[ANGLÈS] The main objective of the project is to carry out a technical-economic repowering study of the "Perdón" wind farm, with an installed power of 20 MW, located 15 km from Pamplona, at the top of the Sierra of Perdón, in the province of Navarre. In this project, the viability of repowering is valued, based on the replacement of the turbines, of lower power and very old technology, by others of new technologies and with higher powers, in order to improve the energy exploitation of which the site has good wind characteristics. An estimation of the wind resource in the area has been carried out and the wind potential obtained from historical wind data obtained at the weather station in our park over the last 15 years. The type of wind turbine is selected according to the wind regime obtained from the site, the number of turbines to be installed and their arrangement to minimize losses due to the wake effect. The new technology has been adapted to the existing infrastructure (trying to take advantage of the existing infrastructure as far as possible) and minimizing its environmental impact by reducing the number of wind turbines in the park, allowing a reuse of the land for other uses The environmental impact on the wildlife and vegetation present in the area has been taken into account, as well as the impact on the landscape, noise levels, among others, and their corrective measures to minimize them as much as possible. Finally, the economic viability of repowering has been evaluated on the basis of the varying costs and revenues generated, for dismantling, execution and operation of the project, in view of whether the execution of this type of project can become profitable and take advantage of these sites. |
