Resistencia a flexión, Resistencia a compresión,

With the goal to study the process of construction of a plaster kiln and later obtaining traditional plaster, an investigation will be carried out to determine its
physical-mechanical and chemical characteristics; and document the behavior of the gypsum stone during its cooking process, from the real experience on a
traditional plaster kiln. The historical evolution of traditional gypsum and its geological environment will also be analyzed.
This document studies handmade gypsum obtained from the firing of the gypsum stone from the quarry of Cementos Tigre, located in the Ribera d'Ondara. This
Spanish municipality belongs to the province of Lleida, located in the region of La Segarra, east of Cervera. It was formed by the merger of the municipalities of
Sant Pere dels Arquells and Sant Antolí and Vilanova, in 1972.
In this study, the behavior of baked gypsum was analyzed before several percentages of water and grazing times. The kneading times are 1 min and 3 min. The
kneading ratio of water on gypsum studied are: 0.30, 0.35, 0.40, 0.45, 0.50, 0.55, 0.60, 0.65, 0.70, 0.75, 0.80, 0.85, 0.90. Of which we have analyzed the: 0.45 and
0.60 at 1 min and 0.60 and 0.75 at 3 min.
Also established three ages to study the hardened plaster which indicate their different factors, which are: 7 days, 14 days and 28 days. For the study of said
gypsum several tests have been carried out which determine its chemical and physical-mechanical aspects, and are:
Dry tests: granulometry, X-ray diffraction, Observation with binocular magnifying glass.
Fresh tests: Dosages, Determination of the consistency (shaking table), Start and end of setting.
Hardened tests: Modulus of dynamic elasticity, Resistance to flexion, Resistance to compression,
Mobility of water: capillary suction, desorption.
For this study, a data collection was also carried out: photos, videos, conversations, field analysis, talks, conferences. After the results obtained, a conclusion of
its application will be reached. |
