El crèdit a la Catalunya dels segles XVI i XVII ; un estat de qüestió

Abstract

Aquest treball és un recull de les principals aportacions que diferents autors realitzen en torn del crèdit durant l’alta edat moderna a Catalunya, en especial al món agrari. Aquests són dos segles d’endeutament creixent on diferents despeses que durant els segles anteriors estaven previstes per l’economia familiar esdevenen motiu de crisis. Una característica clau d’aquest període també és la creixent diferenciació social i els canvis en el model productiu pagès que aquest procés va comportar.

This work is a collection of the main contributions that different historians do about credit during the Early Modern Age in Catalonia, especially on the agricultural world. These are two centuries of growing debts, and different spending, that during the earlier times were plan for the home economics, even though become a reason of indebtedness. Another central feature of these modern centuries also is the rising social differentiation and the changes in the rural production model due to indebtedness
