Wasted resources are a common reality in open laboratories in any University today [2]. Our aim is to take advantage of those resources to do parallel computation without disturbing the local tasks excessively. In order to implement a system that lets us execute parallel applications in a non-dedicated cluster, we propose a new environment, termed CISNE, that integrates Time and Space Sharing scheduling over non-dedicated PVM clusters.
