dc.description.abstract
Ligths is the confluence born of combining the worlds of electronics and computer science to create a solution that fits right into the paradigm of the Internet of Things. This project, defined as a platform and culminated as a product, defines a generic solution for devices to interact with each other via a handmade solution. The product in this case represents a ligth that receives commands via different layers of communication (web sockets, HTTP or Bluetooh) coming from an agnostic client (in this cas an iOs app). After the platform (2 servers, one runnig in the cloud and one running in a Raspberry Pi) compute the first command, they will let the end product know the task that should perform. This project contains different explanations of the solutions as well as some technical detail into the technologies used, creating a discussion on why and which are their benefits among others.
