Paisajes del delito y la inseguridad en las ciudades intermedias

Abstract

Until very recently, phenomena like delinquency were only considered dysfunctions of the system. However, nowadays this phenomenon has become inherent to its way of functioning. This dynamic is influenced by factors such as the increasing polarization of developed economies or the enormous masses of displaced people, due to either economic or political reasons, from developing countries who, in rich countries, often fall in situations of precariousness. In the following text we will see how all these pieces are interrelated in an intermediate city, and we will analyse the fluctuation of violent or intimidating thefts, as well as the most common places where these are committed.
