Les femmes-relais en las instituciones escolares: una experiencia de mediación natural en Francia

Abstract

En Francia, en la mayoría de los barrios con dificultades actúan las femmes-relais, se trata sin duda, de una de las experiencias más conocidas y antiguas en el campo de la mediación: una figura que, teóricamente, interviene para dar respuesta a una demanda, individual o colectiva, de interpretación pero que, en realidad, como veremos, facilita la relación entre las familias recién llegadas y las instituciones escolares del país de acogida.

In France, the femmes-relais act in most of the neighbourhoods with difficulties, which is without any doubt one of the well-known and old experiences in the field of the mediation: a figure that, theoretically, intervenes to give an answer to a singular or collective demand of interpretation but that, in fact, as we will see, facilitates the relationship among recently arrived families and the schools of the admitting country.
