Migración y codesarrollo desde Cataluña: un análisis de sus fortalezas y debilidades

Abstract

El texto parte de una primera aproximación teórica y política sobre el “codesarrollo” en España y Cataluña para, posteriormente, realizar un análisis a partir de entrevistas en profundidad a representantes de instituciones, entidades y asociaciones que desarrollan proyectos bajo este nombre (un total de 11) en la comunidad autónoma de Cataluña. Más allá de presentar cómo definen el codesarrollo, se detecta cuáles son al parecer de los entrevistados los puntos fuertes y las debilidades de este tipo de proyectos. The text starts from a theoretical and policy review of “co-development” into Spain and Catalonia to analyse through in-depth interviews with representatives of institutions, entities and associations who develop projects under this name (11 in total) in the Autonomous Community of Catalonia. This study goes beyond how they define co-development to detect what the strengths and weaknesses of this type of project are according to the interviewees. The impact the economic crisis has had on these is also presented, as is the future they anticipate for them.
