Web app to integrate, compare and visualize DNA

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to provide a web application to biology researchers interested in the salmo-trutta specie. The team has developed a platform that makes possible the search and comparision of information, introduced by the Genetics and Biodiversity research team. This document provides an explanation of how the project has been developed using agile methodologies and tools, an understanding of Spring and Angular development frameworks, a study of NoSQL and relational databases, and the definition of a REST API.
