Abstract

La història medieval del monestir de Santa Magdalena de Mallorca és bastant desconeguda a causa de l’escassetat de documents sobre aquest període. El present article pretén aportar noves dades sobre l’organització i el patrimoni del monestir de les monges penitents a mitjans del segle XIV a partir d’un llibre de protocols del notari Bernat d’Olives.

The medieval history of the monastery of Santa Magdalena in Majorca is quite unknown, because the documents about this historic period are scarce. This article tries to contribute new facts about the organization and the heritage of the monastery of the nuns of the Penance in the middle of the 14th century from a book of the notary Bernat d’Olives.
