¿Emprender es la solución al desempleo en España? Riesgos y limitaciones

Abstract

En el presente artículo se describe, analiza y reflexiona sobre la situación social y económica de España y valora la posibilidad del emprendimiento como estrategia de reducción del paro. España está instalada en una crisis económica muy profunda. Los políticos, élites, autoridades y medios de comunicación consideran actualmente al emprendimiento como la mejor estrategia para trabajar. Las recetas del Gobierno para abordar la crisis económica consisten fundamentalmente en profundizar en el modelo neoliberal. Para la realización del artículo se ha utilizado bibliografía relevante cuantitativa y cualitativa, así como entrevistas. Los resultados obtenidos sugieren que muchos ciudadanos deben crear su propia empresa, deben emprender para trabajar, pero al mismo tiempo, el Estado, el Gobierno español no realiza políticas globales e integrales para capacitar a los individuos. Principalmente sitúa el marco de actuación en el ámbito educativo, pero los resultados son pobres. Solamente consiguen desacreditar más la institución educativa y situar a más colectivos en la marginación. Si fuese una prioridad, el Gobierno, las autoridades e instituciones deberían actuar coordinadamente y fomentar los cambios necesarios. También, se cuestiona el modelo social y económico neoliberal y se reflexiona sobre consolidar un sistema más equitativo y justo.

This article describes, analyzes and reflects on the social and economic situation of Spain and values the possibility of entrepreneurship as a strategy to reduce unemployment. Spain is entrenched in a very profound economic crisis. Politicians, elites, authorities and media consider entrepreneurship the best strategy to work. The government’s prescriptions to address the economic crisis consist basically in deepening the neoliberal model. For the accomplishment of the article, relevant quantitative and qualitative bibliography has been used, as well as in-depth interviews. The results obtained suggest that many citizens must create their own company, they must start business to work, but at the same time, the State, the Spanish government does not make global and comprehensive policies to train individuals. Mainly it places the framework of action in the educational field, but the results are poor. They only get to discredit the educational institution and place more collectives in marginalization. If it were a priority, the Government, the authorities and institutionsshould act in coordination and promote the necessary changes. Also, the neoliberal social and economic model is questioned and a reflection is made about the consolidation of a more equitable and fair system.
