Comparativa entre Orange Is the New Black i Vis a Vis

Abstract

El centre d’aquesta investigació son les series Vis a Vis i Orange Is the New Black, dues produccions de temàtica idèntica. No va haver-hi cap compra de format o de drets, però totes, a simple vista, són molt semblants. Precisament per això aquesta investigació té com a objectiu descobrir si la sèrie espanyola Vis a Vis és una còpia de la sèrie americana Orange Is the New Black. Per fer-ho, ens submergirem en la diègesi d’aquestes dues ficcions de temàtica carcerària i analitzarem els personatges, les trames i el llenguatge audiovisual de totes dues. Un cop fet l’anàlisi, compararem els resultats i identificarem les similituds i diferencies entre ambdues ficcions.

The center of these research are the series Vis a Vis and Orange Is the New Black, two productions with identical themes. There was no format or rights purchase, but all, at the naked eye, they are very similar. Precisely for this reason, this research aims to discover whether the Spanish serie Vis a Vis is a copy of the american serie Orange Is the New Black. To do this, we will immerse in the diegesis of these two prison-themed fictions and we will analyze the characters, plots, and audiovisual lenguage of the two series. Once the content is studied, we will go on to compare the items and see the similarities and differences between both fictions.
