La familia como comunidad de generaciones y la solidaridad familiar intergeneracional como su cohesión interna

Abstract

Con ocasión del vigésimo año internacional de la familia (2014), la ONU ha definido la solidaridad intergeneracional como una cuestión de interés internacional. Este año es también el vigésimo aniversario de la Carta a las Familias que Juan Pablo II envió a todas las familias del mundo precisamente para celebrar el Año internacional de la familia promovido por la ONU, y donde el papa Wojtyła reflexiona –entre otros temas– sobre las relaciones familiares y la solidaridad entre ellas. El objetivo de este estudio es arrojar luz sobre los fundamentos antropológicos y teológicos de la solidaridad familiar intergeneracional y sus exigencias morales a partir de la Carta a las familias.

On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the International Year of the Family (2014) the UN qualified Intergenerational solidarity as a matter of international concern. This year is also the twentieth anniversary of the Letter to the Families that John Paul II sent to all the families of the world to celebrate the International Year of the Family promoted by the UN, and where Pope Wojtyła reflects on family relationships and solidarity. The purpose of this study is shedding light on the anthropological and theological bases of the intergenerational family solidarity and its moral requirements from the Letter to the Families.
