En el present treball es parlarà del trastorn esquizoafectiu; sobre la seva història, la seva etiologia, els seus criteris diagnòstics, la seva classificació, el seu curs, i el seu tractament, tant farmacològic com a terapèutic. Posteriorment, es contextualitzarà el trastorn en adolescents, i s'aplicarà en un cas pràctic per poder comprendre millor el maneig i la repercussió que aquest presenta, y establir un adequada intervenció terapèutica.

En el presente trabajo se profundizará sobre el trastorno esquizoafectivo, sobre su historia, etiología, criterios diagnósticos, clasificación, curso, y tratamiento, tanto farmacológico como terapéutico. Posteriormente, se contextualizará el trastorno en adolescentes, y se aplicará en un caso práctico para poder comprender mejor el manejo y la repercusión que éste presenta, y establecer una adecuada intervención terapéutica.

In the present work we will report about the schizoaffective disorder; on his history, his etiology, his criteria diagnostics, his classification, his course, and his treatment, so much pharmacologic as therapeutic. Later, we will talk about his influence in teenagers, and it will be applied in a practical case to understand better the therapeutic intervention and the repercussion that it presents and to establish an appropriate therapeutic intervention.
