The purpose of this thesis is to explain how to design, elaborate and implement a Crisis Management Tool (CMT). CMT's gold is to improve and stimulate the decision-making process to the Management Board and to the CEO itself in case of crisis situation, we do understood crisis as fire, terrorist attack or any situation which interrupt the regular development of their daily tasks. A quick and accurate reaction to a crisis situation makes increase the percentage of success in front of an unforeseen catastrophe. Concerning the design itself, it must be highlighted that the tool has been roll out on a clear and essential premise: Easy, even it is not much used! The development of the Crisis Management tool (CMT) is enshrined in the Business Continuity Plan lifecycle. In this dissertation the main aim and the technical specifications considered for developing the CMT are detailed. CMT has been tested, a pilot version has been applied in a Crisis Management practice exercise for the Management Board of a real company, results are explained in this thesis. Finally, I have listed those aspect that have to be improved, those were identify while designing and testing the tool. |
