dc.description.abstract
Relation between education and computers -or better said, digital technologies- can be analyzed from different points of view. One of being the information technology role as the main tool people have to develop intellectual work. This field of intelectual work is extremely broad and includes a lot of activities. This paper reviews the different types of activites grouped in 5 areas (planning and control; reading, studying and observation; information and documentation; writting and creation; presentation, communication and discussion). Their relation to information management, the possibilities brought by the digital technology and the impact on education is also reviewed.
