The author, in this second paper, continues the exposition of the uses of áv in the complete works of Sophocles. In the first part, in five separate groups he deals with the uses of áv as an indicator of an unreal expression beside the verb in the indicative mode, with the protasis also in the indicative mode. Likewise, in the second part, in two separate groups he deals with the uses of áv as an indicator of an unreal expression beside the verb in the indicative mode, but now with the protasis in the participle. Finally, in the third part, in two separate groups he deals with the uses of áv as an indicator of an unreal expression beside the verb in the infinitive.
