Líneas de pensamiento dominante sobre la situación política en Oriente Medio. Una aproximación a cómo cuatro think tanks construyen su discurso

Abstract

En este artículo se ofrece una descripción inicial de algunos discursos dominantes, producidos por cuatro distintos think tanks, sobre la situación política internacional en Oriente Medio y concretamente sobre el conflicto Israel-Palestina durante el 2006. Se han tomado dos ejemplos de think tanks anglosajones y dos ejemplos de think tanks españoles con perfiles ideológicos distintos, con la intención de profundizar haciendo una cierta comparativa. La investigación concluye que los contenidos analizados tienen un intenso carácter coyuntural lo cual los sitúa en el plano de la especulación política, más que de la investigación científica.

In this article there offers an initial description of some dominant discourses, produced by four different think tanks, on the political international situation in Middle East and concretely on the conflict Israel-Palestine during 2006. There have been taken two examples of think tanks Anglo-Saxons and two examples of Spanish think tanks with different ideological profiles, with the intention of penetrating making a certain comparative. The research concludes that the analyzed contents have an intense relating to the moment they were produced which places them in the plane of the political speculation, more than of the scientific investigation.
