Este ensayo trata sobre la eliminación de la Secretaría Especial de Derechos de los Animales (SEDA) de Porto Alegre ocurrida en enero de 2017 por medio de la Ley de Reforma Administrativa de este municipio. La Ley en cuestión fusionó la Secretaría Municipal de Urbanismo (SMUrb), la Secretaria Municipal de Medio Ambiente (SMAM) y la Secretaría Especial de Derechos de los Animales (SEDA) en un único organismo: Secretaría Municipal de Medio Ambiente y Sustentabilidad (Smams).
This essay deals with the elimination of the Special Secretary for Animal Rights (SEDA) of Porto Alegre, which occurred in January 2017 through the Administrative Reform Law of this municipality. The Law in question merged the Municipal Secretary of Urbanism (SMUrb), the Municipal Secretary of Environment (SMAM) and the Special Secretary of Animal Rights (SEDA) in a single agency: Municipal Secretary of Environment and Sustainability (Smams).
