Postures i impostures, o dels límits de la revolució i el teatre polític : França, terra d'insurreccions

Abstract

Aquest estudi aspira a obrir un espai de reflexió al voltant del teatre polític i, en particular, de les relacions que s'estableixen entre revolució i teatre, centrant-nos en el bagatge revolucionari i dramatúrgic de França, terra d'insurreccions. La reflexió pretén revisar, així mateix, les ressonàncies d'aquestes experiències a Catalunya. L'article s'inicia amb unes notes sobre el concepte de revolució per seguidament tractar una de les manifestacions de la confluència entre revolució i teatre; en concret, la revolució com a trama de l'obra dramàtica, apartat centrat en l'estudi de l'experiència de la Revolució francesa (1789-1794).

This study aims to open a space for reflection on political theatre and, in particular, on the relationships established between revolution and theatre, focusing on the revolutionary and dramaturgical background of France, a land of insurrections. The reflection also aims to review the resonances of these experiences in Catalonia. The article begins with a few brief notes on the concept of revolution and then deals with one of the manifestations in the confluence between revolution and theatre; in particular, the revolution as the plot of the dramatic work, a section focused on the study of the experience of the French Revolution (1789-1794).
