Revisió del gènere Probaticus Seidlitz, 1898 a la península Ibèrica i illes Balears (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae)

Abstract

It is accomplished a revision of the genus Probaticus Seidlitz, 1898, included in the subtribu Helopina, of the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands. It is described new species known of the Iberian Northeast, related to the species of Catalonia and Balearic Islands. It is presented a new specific status of the genus with keys and geographical distribution. They are studied the subgenus of the genus Probaticus, with the proposal of new status generic and subgeneric.

Es presenta la revisió del gènere Probaticus Seidlitz, 1898, pertanyent a la subtribu Helopina, a la península Ibèrica i illes Balears. Amb la descripció d’una nova espècie, propia del norest ibèric i relacionada amb les espècies de Catalunya i Balears. S’efectua una nova ordenació especifica del mateix, acompanyant-la amb las correspondents claus i la seva distribució geogràfica. S’estudia també la composició subgènerica de Probaticus, amb proposta d’una nova ordenació genèrica i subgènerica.
