L’objectiu d’aquest treball és dur a terme l’anàlisi del comportament de la unitat 07 de la flota de tramvies de la ciutat francesa de Reims, de la qual s’han obtingut dades experimentals. El primer objectiu serà la síntesi i descripció de les dades obtingudes. A partir d’aquí, el treball es centrarà en analitzar la casuística de determinats comportaments relacionats amb el consum i, si s’escau, proposar-ne possibles solucions.

One of the main factors that require high amounts of energy in a railway network is the acceleration regime; controlling this phase as far as possible and implementing these phases responsibly can be translated into very important energy savings that contribute making this service much more efficient. This change, in the specific case of tramways, must be understood as a change in the behaviour of drivers, who are ultimately responsible of the utilization of the vehicles. The aim of this project is to analyse real data gathered from vehicle 107 of the fleet of the French city of Reims and extracting conclusions related to the performances of these virtual drivers. In order to do that, a model has been created with the objective of quantifying how important parameters such as switching points, line gradients, line resistances and other factors are. It has been concluded that there are substantial differences between the different virtual drivers, analysing their way of driving. Possible solutions have been analysed for both a general case and the specific case. It has been gathered that these changes can represent more than a 30% in energy savings. A list of Driver Advisory and Information Systems (DAS and DIS) and more possible solutions to make the network more efficient have been purposed
