dc.description.abstract
NoFOMO is a public art project inspired by the situationist concept of psychogeography. It aims to raise people's awareness of the increasing damage we get from the busyness of modern life, following the psychogeographic strategies of dérive, détournement, and play. FOMO means "fear of missing out". I want people to know that while we fear missing out on various experiences happening in the distance, we are also missing out on the precious things around us. So, "No FOMO! Do experience what is happening in this moment around you!"
Starting with an escape from the busy life, during the Monumental Club time, people will get an introduction about NoFOMO, with an exhibition. And then, when they return to daily life, they will find more beauty around them with the "NoFOMO filter" in their minds.
