Through the means of temperature variations of the aerofoil surface this report aimed to investigate and enhance the aerodynamic efficiency of micro air vehicles. Through the process of heating the lower edge of the aerofoil nose and cooling the upper leading edge of the nose surface, an increase of Lift/Drag coefficient was observed. The focus of this research lies in the computational investigation of this affect on small scale high cambered aerofoils at a range of zero angle of attack at moderate Reynolds number flow
