Abstract

We focus on the theory of convolutional neural networks. Starting with a bit of history, then explaining its components. We mention some structures that played an important role throughout deep learning history and why convolutional neural networks are so successful in this field. Therefore we explain some applications of this kind of neural networks such as object classification or object detection using Tensorflow.
