This project aims to find out the goodness of Agent-Based Models for modeling ecological microbial systems. For doing it, first, it is done a study of the methodology, and then, it is modeled a microbial example system to test its behavior. It is very important to study the growth of ecological microbial systems to better understand their proliferations, which can damage the ecosystem they live in. That is why, in particular, the model outputs results like the number of individuals in the system population per day and the biovolume distribution of its cells per hour. With these results, it is found that the Agent-Based Model reproduces correctly the system properties emerging from the individuals behavior, and so, it is a good tool for studying the ecological microbial systems.
