Ponent: estudi sobre la identitat territorial del Baix Segre

Abstract

Aquest treball final d'estudis es centra en l’anàlisis del territori del Baix Segre, amb l'objectiu d'entendre les dinàmiques actuals que afecten aquesta regió, situada a la conca del riu Segre. S'ha realitzat un anàlisi territorial en tres escales: el riu Segre en la seva totalitat, la comarca del Segrià i, finalment, el Baix Segre, que comprèn set pobles específics. A cada escala s'han estudiat el context i les característiques del territori, el paisatge i la importància de l'aigua. Per complementar l'anàlisi, s'han realitzat enquestes i entrevistes a actors locals, que han aportat una perspectiva directa i qualitativa sobre les problemàtiques i oportunitats del territori. Les conclusions del treball ofereixen una síntesi dels principals resultats, i finalment, es presenten criteris d'intervenció orientats a promoure el desenvolupament sostenible del Baix Segrià, amb l'objectiu de preservar la seva identitat cultural i garantir la viabilitat econòmica i ambiental del territori en el futur.

This final degree project focuses on the diagnosis of the Baix Segre territory, with the aim of understanding the current dynamics affecting this region, located in the Segre River basin. A territorial analysis was carried out at three scales: the Segre River as a whole, the Segrià region, and finally, the Bajo Segre, which includes seven specific villages. At each scale, the context and characteristics of the territory, the landscape, and the importance of water were studied. To complement the analysis, surveys and interviews were conducted with local stakeholders, providing a direct and qualitative perspective on the region’s challenges and opportunities. The conclusions of the study offer a synthesis of the main findings, highlighting the interrelationships between agriculture, the landscape, and water use. Finally, intervention proposals are presented aimed at promoting the sustainable development of Bajo Segre, with the goal of preserving its cultural identity and ensuring the economic and environmental viability of the territory in the future.
