Abstract

A collaborative dimension on concrete business accounts for the education of a Gaudí's modernismo modernized. Eusebi Güell (1853–1926) met the young architect in the International Paris Exhibition of 1879. At the same period of time, Güell was transferring technology from the U.S. of America to Barcelona with other industrialists such as J. Francisco de Navarro (1823–1909). Their joint Portland cement industry played a major role in the evolution of concrete construction in Spain and in the work of Gaudí.
