dc.description.abstract
The software package BRUS (Basic Research utilities for SBAS) to process WAAS and EGNOS data is being developed by gAGE/UPC. Some of the main characteristics of BRUS are its architecture design and functionalities that allow to obtain huge information for the different error source components (satellite coordinates, clocks, ionospheric corrections,...), providing wide possibilities for the SBAS performance analysis in both, SIS and position domain. As an application, the performance of the EGNOS System Test Bed (ESTB) during 2002 is analyzed; using data sets collected in the ESTB Data Collection and Evaluation campaigns of EUROCONTROL (the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation). As an extension of BRUS, a Global Performance SBAS Monitoring Tool using public domain GPS networks data is going to be developed.
