Software inteligente de codificación de imagen y vídeo adaptativa a requerimientos de hardware

En este trabajo estudiaremos los formatos de los contenidos multimedia de Video e Imágenes. Qué tipos de formatos existen, cuáles son sus puntos fuertes y sus debilidades, en el caso de las imágenes, y en el caso de los videos como están estructurados, que es un Códec y cuáles de ellos se pueden usar en cada formato. En concreto, nos centraremos en los formatos BMP, PNG, JPEG y JPEG2000 para imágenes, y en MP4 para video, del cual estudiaremos los códec H.264. Explicaremos también el proyecto DCBox, en el cual trabajo en la empresa TMTFactory. El punto central de este trabajo, que es la creación de un módulo para dicho proyecto que consistirá en modificar el formato y características de archivos multimedia de forma automática y a requerimiento del destinatario de dicho archivo. Para cada formato antes mencionado mostraremos como se ha programado y cómo se efectuará su integración en el módulo.

In this project we will study the formats of the multimedia contents of Video and Images. What types of formats exist, what are their strengths and weaknesses, in the case of images, and in the case of videos as they are structured, which is a Codec and which of them can be used in each format. In particular, we will focus on the BMP, PNG, Jpeg and JPEG2000 formats for images, and MP4 for video, of which we will study the H.264 codec. We will also explain the DCBox project, in which I work in the company TMTFactory and the central point of this work, which is the creation of a module for this project that will consist of modifying the format and characteristics of multimedia files automatically and at the request of the recipient of said file. For each format mentioned above we will show how it has been programmed and how everything will be integrated into the module.
